# Getting Started

The DICE series USB audio interfaces are class-compliant. They work with a USB host — a computer or a mobile device — using the operating system's built-in USB audio driver, with no additional software required. They can also be used in standalone mode, without a computer.

A dedicated ASIO driver for Windows, which allows lower-latency operation than the built-in driver, is available from the Behringer website.

DICE 1U2, 2U2, 2U4 and 4U4 are bus-powered over USB. DICE 1U2, 2U2 and 2U4 require 5 V, 0.5 A. DICE 4U4 requires 5 V, 1 A.
